hiya

just wonder why thrid gear stuck. i have rvr sportgear x2..1999...2350cc...autoswitchable....petrol.

first and secord gear is fine but third r stuck and wont move up to fourth gear due rev went high when i press gas but third stauck...why that? is it tps? or what

help will be great and tell me where is it ok

Is your overdrive switch working? Does the light come on the dash?

there no overdrive switch...dashboard did show 3 icon auto when start from first then second then third but got stuck at 3 gear (auto)

Ya net lingo sux, but I'll try 'n elp
You don't have an overdrive button or you don't know where it is ?
3rd = front clutch (3rd), rear clutch (1st) & end clutch (4th)
4th = end clutch (4th) & kickdown band (2nd)
With a shagged end clutch (4th) You will still get 3rd gear, but only the front clutch (3rd) & the rear clutch (1st) is holding the car in 3rd gear
When you select 4th gear with a shagged end clutch (4th) The 2nd gear band (kickdown band 2nd) can't hold the car & the engine will rev up
You should go see a trans repair shop & say you suspect your 4th clutch pack is shagged (******)
It can be replaced without removing the box, so don't wear (the box has to come out ********)
