RWC for gsr with vr4 conversion? VIC

Im not sure where to post this but I am buying a GSR with a VR4 convertin and was wandering if there are any issues getting a RWC for it?
or where to go to get a RWC and avoid teh issues

Is it engineered with the engine in it?

If it's coming from interstate you've got ZERO issues, you only need to prove it was legally registered in that state and you're fine. By this, I mean you need to present the previous rego papers with the CORRECT (2L) engine number... ie: 4G63xxxxxx

If it's local, you need all the engineer's papers.

I paid $202 for my car to travel from Adelaide to Melbourne on the back of an un-covered TNT truck. Might be worth a look into?

works out cheaper. ortho id realy like to c it befor i actualy buy it.
plus its a good exuse to catch up with some mates and relos up that way
i like a nice interstate drive erer now and then.

I checked with ASAF but they dont do RWC, and i never checked the business directory here.

be carful when ya go to vic roads i had major hassles when i tried to register my gsr back on road even with a road worthy just after i got evo conversion just dont go to burwood.. they were real c..ts to me and darren from afas. in the end had to get another rwc and register it with different engine numbers.. haha hate vicroads. anyways see ya on sunday names Blake
