Right.......I had this idea today....I've got a 4g92p crank and 4g93p block i was thinking i could try and find a longer set of rods to make a high revving 4g93 but.....from memory the 4g92 is 77.5mm stroke and the 93 is 89mm i think it would be mint if i could make it work!!

Please anyone and everyone give some feedback and thoughts.

Cheers,
Ted.

if you set up the rod length to have a stock deck clearance then your displacement is going to be 3.14 x bore x bore x stroke / 1000

which is pi r^2 x height volume of a cylinder the / 1000 is to go from cubic mm to cubic centimeters or CC

so your going to get 1596 cc may as-well just use a full 1.6 setup. the beter option would be to fit a 1.8 crank into the 1.6 block and get shorter rods to make a stroker. or even a 4g94 crank into the 1.8 for a stroker. all would require custom rods. or custom pistons to maintain correct compression height. of which the 4g93 is 1.21 inch or 30.8mm. the 1.6 has a 30mm 1.18 inch comp height

Sorry guys just had a crazy brain fart!! or blonde moment whatever you want to call it lol Yeah im trying to destroke to rev harder but im just going to leave it alone, i need it to rev to 9 easily with the auto and 3 gears
