Some EVO 3 info needed from you EVO guru's out there..

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

That's the A/C temperature sensor. Yep the part number is MR233485 and found in a lot of Mitsu's around the same era.

Ok Kool. Yeah I Was wondering if a magna elite would have the same part.
I'll give it a shot.

Cheers man.

Yeah tn's didn't have it.

I had a 91 tr elite. It had climate in it. Also had a 94 limited edition v6 wagon that had it to...

Loved both them cars. Even converted my elite to manual.

My old KS Verada has digital climate, but unsure if the sensors will be the same

I know definitely the FTO uses same as EVO1/2/3

Yeah I got a guy (Rory) having a look on the weekend for us.. He was going to look at some FTO wrecks in qld so hopefully he can find a few... Fingers crossed...

Ok, no luck with the silver A/C sensor.. one FTO was stripped out already the other was manual a/c... So the search continues.

@ Rory

Thanks again for having a look for us hay...

@ EVO-00X

No need for them pix of the connectors on the rear of the distribution block... Rory had a e3 harness out of a car so he got the pix for me.. Saves you braking your back getting up under the dash...lol..... Thanks again for all your help but hay...

Update.... The e3 (and I assume e2) harness does have a red with white trace wire where the gsr and evo 1 harness has the red with green trace wire, as in the pic in post #49 in the is thread. this means that there is no wire going from where the red with green trace wires (door open trigger wires) gather beside the drivers seat going to the distribution block. It only runs to the rear.. So for the interior light and door open light on the dash to work there must be something in the boot harness that connects these two wires together.... I'll update this thread again once I get my rear harness...

Ok, I finally got hold of one of them little silver temp sensor thingies and also the rear wiring harness..

I was hoping this harness would sort my above issue with the interior light and although it's a step in the right direction an I now know where the door wiring goes to (the first connector below) I now need to know the following..

This one is sorted !!This is the conector where the door wiring etc goes ( and some other wires) its on the drivers side in the boot and it needs something plugged into it to make the interior light and the door open light on the dash work.. Below is a pic of the connector and it's ruff location... Does anyone know what it is that plugs in here and if possible can someone take a pic of the item ?.

This one is sorted !!There is also this connector.. It's on the passenger side, the pix below show the connector itself and it's ruff location..
I think it's the connector for the aerial but can someone please 100% confirm this for me...

These are the last two connectors in the entire car that have nothing plugged into them, once I've sorted these Ill finally be finished with everything wiring/electronic wise in the car.. Currently, everything works 100% Bar the interior light/door open ligh, oh and the aerial as I don't have one and will not be installing any aerial on the car.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as always...

Yes the passenger side is the aerial

The drivers side I have no idea, I know the keyless entry receiver sits there but im not sure if it uses that plug

Thanks bud for clearing up the aerial connector !!

Ok so I can tape the aerial connector up out of the way.... Awesome....

Now just need to sort the other one... I was thinking the keyless entry receiver too but as I've never seen a complete unmolested EVO I also can't be sure... If it is that, damn it would be nice to get a receiver with matching fob to finish it off....

If anyone else can shed some light on the problem please jump in....
