Hello Everyone,

Has anyone got any ideas about fixing a leaking oil return?

I've tried genuine gaskets, rtv black and rtv copper. It allways leaks from the bottom seal. tried a different oil return line too.

I'm about at the stage where im gonna take the sump off and get a AN fitting welded to it.

i thought mine was leaking from there but when i double checked, it was leaking from the part where the ridges are in the middle of the return pipe. i guess as it flexed in and out over time, the crack appeared. I fixed it by cutting the ridge part out and using oil cooler line big enough with 2 hose clamps to temp. fix the problem til i get a new one

i haven't triedt the genuine bolts / washers. Are they a special type? or can I use a flat washerwith sealent on it?

They are special.

They are a copper washer with an oring built in.

Ask Sivart for the part #.
He keeps them in stock at MITSU KNOX

Using the GT pumps kit and toyota sump sealant (get from the dealer) worked after i had a fight with mine. The toyota black sump sealant is awesome stuff.
Dont have to take the sump off to weld a fitting with these kits.
FP sells a similar kit.
Also look on ebay "MAP Oil Return Line Kit Pushlock DSM Eclipse Talon Laser w/ Mitsubishi Turbo"

As I said above I had a leak from rocker cover which leaked down the turbo. Fixed that. And still got a tiny leak from non gen bolts in the oil return line. So the two leaks joined into one :)
