went down to easternats today. say sxygsr car looked like it was running good. thn out of the corner of my eye later in the day i saw it outside the track billowing smoke . whats up with that is it ok?

also saw a blue evo (i think) stock wheels t4g sticker noisey fan belt :wink:

12,000 kms n a tune done!!! done by maztech n it fucks up... lasted 3 laps on sanddown n fuck up... i was flying along n saw smoke all behind me so i quickly got off the track but it was to late, the damage was done

dont know what the damage is atm i'm pulling motoe out saturday n giving it to work on wednesday to look if its worth fixing it or me just to put the VR4 motor in it

what specs did you have for the engine? or did you already post it somewhere else?..

how much psi were you running?

mmmm well it got rebuild... only done 12,000 kms n engine was ran in properly... i was running it on 16 psi on the track... the motor has alot of mod's done to it... rings, forg pistons, cams, gears ect... but still it fucked up... dont get it... thats why i'm pissed off with maztech... i got it tuned so it wouldent fuck up on the track now its costing me a rebuild

Yeah that does sound a bit sus... was it pinging? what fuel did you get it tuned on? same fuel as you ran on the day?

na running normal fuel... in thats all i was running on the track... hight octain... n thats what it was tuned on... well i'm off talk to use tomorrow about it....

Sorry to hear about your loss!

Did you buy this off a guy in Adelaide? Are you sure that the work done to it was actually there? Did you have any reciepts when you bought it? I remember seeing it for sale ages ago, and there were a few things that just didnt add up- well to me anyway.
