TD04 question on CE coupe

hows it goin guys,

im new to the turbo scene so pls bear with me........

im looking into buying a TD04-13g which is off the auto jap spek VR4, i've read that this turbo hits boost at about 1800rpm and reaches full boost at about 2800rpm (roughly depending on setup)..... will this turbo be able to hold boost all the way through the rev range.....? or should i look into a slightly bigger turbo?

my main thing is that i'd like for the setup to be able to keep pulling all the way through and not loose any torque up in the high revs
keeping in mind that this will be set at 8psi....

turbo-ing my 4G93 1.8ltr

The 13g's fall off abit around 5500rpm, i'd be looking at a TD05 14b, as they have a nicer power curve to them compared to the TD04....
 
ive done my 2002 ce coupe dude you are going to run in to alot of probs so if you want to get together and have a chat i can help you out.
o here a pic of what your car looks like when you just try and get it going hahahahaha.

For a CE coupe, an Evo4/Evo5 TD05 would be another option.. and you shouldnt have much problem with space between engine and radiator


Andy.. Did you use a TD04 of a VR4 or CE/CC GSR? If you got one of a CE lancer I imagine it would be straight forward?

Hey dude i got mine od a wrx first one then swoop to the cc gsr one

what you really need is a 96 ce turbo gsr top half.
biuld your bottom half of your motor and chuck the top half of that motor on yours then you can boost away and it will fit all nice.
but the head is rear as.
so if you guys find one let me no and the manifold.
