Arrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!

So close to an 11 I could almost taste it!!

12.006 @ 118.83

I actually had my first run within 30 seconds of geting there and the clutch was too hot to grip properly :( got a 14.2 @98.09 with bad clutch slip at anything over 1/2 throttle in ANY gear.
I though the clutch was dead but decided to let it cool off for a bit.
2nd run was better, 12.172 @ 116.74 with a small amount of slip in 3rd.
3rd run was slippage again 12.923 @ 112.6
4th was 12.324 @ 118.00 no slip that I could feel
5th was the 12.00 run
6th was 12.203 @ 118.83 with a very bad bog on the launch.

Was a pretty good night, as long as I let the clutch cool down between runs it is fine. I also switched the antilag off after the slippage in the first run.

Wow!

Great effort!

What clutch are you running?
Organis I'm assuming.

Time for a ceramic clutch of some sort...

This is the disc I'm running Barry.

It only seemed to slip right at the start of the night and was fine once it had cooled down from the drive out.
It's never slipped on the street so I am guessing that the added traction at the track + antilag and NLTS didn't help when it was still hot. Unless I am making so much horsepower that it was actually wheelspin and not slip hehehehe. ( as if! )
I'm also running a Fidanza flywheel with it.

Thanks Dean and Jerome
I started the night at 30+psi and turned it down to about 25 .
It was pretty cold out there hence she would have been making pretty good power. At least I beat everything I cam up against execpt for my first run :(
I ran a Supra ( turbo I think ), XR6 turbo, WB holden ute, 2 x SS utes. I think that was all....

nothing for me to say now...:( but congrats... i'll get mine out again when i get time to look at it/fix it. I might have broken my cusco LSD only time will tell. Damn must have been quiet to get that many runs..i guess everyone had enough of racing after the jambo weekend.

lol Barry, No rides thread up yet mate...

Rough setup is
Stock block - 275000 kms on the car
BC272 cams
Skunk 2 cam gears
PTE 50 trim turbo
Evo 7 cooler
Meek frankenstein'd piping kit.
1450cc blumax injectors
255 wally pump
Stock fuel lines.
AEM Afpr
Dsmlink V3 ( soon to go full speed density with it )
No power steer

Looks nice and stock other than the RS bonnet and the cut front bar.
I really should get off my lazy ass and put up a ride thread :)
