Just to let you all know that after accident that took place 2 weeks ago my car is non repairable write off.
This means I'll be selling the car as is or will start selling parts.
Parts won't be available before mid of August.
Only damage to car is front and rear bar, everything else is intact.

It's a sad day for me after all time and money spent on car but it has to be this way now.

Thanks for reading
Miodrag

shit mio! are you ok? what happened? i dont need any parts atm but that really sucks :( it must be pretty bad to be non repairable writeoff

Bad luck mate, but my ute technically is a right off being that it bent the a pillar. But it still is fixable. I did a heap of the prep work and sourced my own parts to keep costs down and made it economically viable to repair.
Maybe you could do this?

Saying that, if your car is a auto, can I dibs the gearbox, transfer and tcu.

Sorry to hear Mio, suck a lot that our still awesome cars are worth next to nothing now :/

If you get around to putting a parts list, I'd be keen to have a look at what you'd be willing to send down to Melb ;-)

hideously unlucky to be sandwiched

any chance of seeing photos to see how end up after a smash?

how much was it insured for or valued at?

list of parts? did you have the evo7 mr bov?

there are many around still or make an offer on mine

Thanks for the replies.

I'm ok. It wasn't that big smash, at least I didn't feel it as much.

I couldn't beleive that the car will be non repairable write off but i heard that under new laws now if repair cost exceeds market value they write it off. Damage is only to front and rear bar and everything else is intact as i said.

I will not start selling parts until 10th of August and then I'll try to write down the list with some prices.

Thank You

yeah it's a shit market to sell these beasts :( my cars more than double that stock one on carsales and i believe its definitely worth it :( im not parting it out no matter what, dont have space or time

Like I said mio, get your payout and the car, buy the parts you need and get it fixed.
You will need your panel beater to have a look after you remove the front and rear bar, so he can see the extent of the damage.
If you lucky, maybe because you have taken the wreck back, they won't call it a non repairable, I know over your side they are getting strict with that.
Also good on you for taking the wreck, too many of these cars with good parts go to auctions and none of the enthusiasts get access to the parts. I dunno where they end up, but I often buy wrecks and talk to other bidders but still the stuff disappears (maybe to the shelves of wrecking yards)
