The NEW dyno day

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

August 12, 13, 19 or 20 is fine by me.
Can we please just set a date and stick by it?

Everyone is continually modding and building their cars, there is always going to be someone who is not up to their potential.

I am sure that we can rustle up 20 cars for this event.

I know it would be good to set a date but it would be better if we could arrange it that we can involve everyone. I know everyone is continually modding their rides but a few members have fairly major build ups under progress that are nearing completion, so i think it is only fair that we wait for them too. But if just say GSRSOL or bazeng find out that they have a hold up and the car won't be ready for a long time yet them we will work aroung that too! Just trying to please as many people as possible and make the day as successful as possible. Cheers Justin

Its understandable that we set a date that some guys doing major builds can be involved, and its also preferable that we set a date that is pleasing to as many people as possible.

However, if we never set a date, then we will never have a dyno day.

I think that it is possible to set a date, say at the end of August, then we get as many people as possible to the event. If people miss out, then thats alright, because we can always organise another one is 3 to 6 months.

It is just going to be a fact that not everyone is going to be able to be involved every time.

So I guess, what timing is good for the guys current making major builds?

late august should be good also..

fingers crossed

Late august is the Evo Nationals ( All Evolutions of Lancers in Aus ) which will be held at Wakefield Park.. Alot of the EVO contingent from melbourne will be heading up there.. so if you want a decent turnout/crowd of evo's.. then i wouldnt be planning it around late august.

Jon,

What are the dates for the Evo nats?

Going to a dyno day the weekend before that would be great for guys going to wakefield the next weekend.

Alot of the EVO contingent from Melbourne?? Most people havent even heard of it, unless they're a member of EVO OZ- and even then, how many of them will go up to sydney for it? You cant even race if you dont have an EVO, which most of the people on this forum do not have.

I'd love to go- and tell one of the moderators of that site to kiss my ass. :p

Dont plan this around the "EX subie owners cant stop complaining because I got ripped off when I bought my EVO 8" nats.

well said 8)

I don't care for the politics and bullshit. I would like this event to be a success and for as many people as possible to attend.

Yeah, when is the dyno day on?

I'm up for it, late August on a weekend, sounds like we will be able to get 20 people easily, even if we have to get some ring ins
