To all the people that have had there little input on this white gsr that i am the owner of and as a qualified panelbeater, you all dont know much about body work obviously , because although this car may have looked really bad, it really wasnt, 1st the rear quarter was removed and refitted accordingly to the manufacturers specs, 2 the rear door was removed and a NEW one was sprayed and fitted, 3 the rear suspension components that were damaged were all replaced, 4 the little steering promblem that it had has now been repaired all it was , was very un alligned rear wheels as you'd expect from accident and for all your information the wheel alligners told me TODAY! that this car does not 100% crab walk or in any way drive in a odd way , i proved it to myself by sitting on 160km/h on the eastern freeway with no rattles and no shakes, so in conclusion if this car was as you would say FUCKED! why is it that it drives straight, steers the way it should and all the panels line up??? explain this to me cause your all experts and all.

mmmm ok what r u talking about,,, who was this aiming too???
what white gsr... the only way the car would be fuck if it has hit a tree n bent/cracked the chasy or what ever... dints n bent stuff r nothing... if u have a wheel aliment done n its out... its not the end of the world... u just might need to spend money so your tyres dont wear...

i know i dont get it ether whats going need pics and what ever else your on about.

oh yeah i get the story now... very intresting...

Damge that bad should have costed $8000 +++ making it not worth fixing if it was fix properly... i bet it still would have had alot of damage no repaird... i work on heaps of smashed cars at my work... had a VT SS in the wet loose it n hit a gutter in the rear at 70kms... the mag wheel was broken in half all underneath was stuffed... we spent $16,000 fixing it... n it still is not right from this day... the guy did the smart move n sold it knowing it was stuffed still... once damage is that bad.... will never be the same again...

white gsr

I just want to find out who the Mr know it all is that thinks he knows about my car better than me, he'd better hope his had more years expirience as a panel beater more than me. like someone just said it was a wheel allignment and its not the end of the world, so why would you people write all this shit about my car when you all have no idea. now beacause af all of you people that commented on the car and posted pics of when it was damaged, like someone said previously i probably wont sell it, but if i do i will shake the guys hand who buys it and congratulate him on a fucking awsone car for such a cheap price!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here we have a picture of the car, as you would have all seen on e-bay, now i call foward someone that can pick one just one fucking defect on the panel work! every line and every seam is perfect , so come on smartass show everyone how good you are , and you know who you are your the one who posted the pics of the car when it was fucked.

mmmm true... it looks all fixed... but it wouldnt had been worth it... anyways if u get it for $8000 its a bargen... prob wouldnt pay anymore then 10,000... prob only cause i know what damage has been done

its not the work thats been done..

its the description that you put up..

"missing a rim.. don't know how?.." you could say it was in an accident..

Ok

first of all, if you have an issue with the WEALTH of knowledge that forums in general bring to clued-up people (especially in the Mistu 4WD turbo community) then bad luck.

Of course someone would want to know what sort of accident this vehicle has been in before purchasing it.

The initial story behind the sale, as stated in your ebay description (the first time) was directly aimed at trying to cover up the fact that the vehicle had been smashed/damaged and repaired.

If you have joined here (T4G) just to whinge and moan that the true background of this car has come to light, then you are wasting your time. Thats the best and worst thing about forums, they let everyone know about everything.

Secondly, you have not stated a location in your profile

and thirdly, if you intend on posting on this forum, please refrain from taunts, attacks and general poor language.

Good luck with the sale.

Now, ok about the wheel story and all the other bullshit, i made it up to sell the car like eveyone does to sell something, im sure that if any of you had the same deal you would say the truth, give a bloke a break, this car had no chassis damage what so ever and the one idiot that said it had bent rails is a fucking retard because how does a car thats had a side impact have bent rails? and if it did it would have to be a serious fucken hit and have a kinked roof, once again the car looked extreme but as a panel beater i think i would know what to buy thats repairable and safe once repaired. thankyou.

Looks like a lot of work has gone into it since these pics and well done for your efforts. Not trying to be smart or anythng but do you have a better side on pic of the rear wheel arch cause in your pic above it looks like there is a straight section in the wheel arch instead of a nice flowing curve just before the rear bumper?

dude..

the fact that you wrote in another forum about the damage and the fact that you wrote a different story on ebay is what's gettin to everyone..

yeah true to both storys... it was trying to cover up that it had been smashed but to be honish i would have done the same thing... but thats the best thing about these forms... we find out everything about others ppls car so easy... eg like yours... but trust me this will not effect your sale in a big way as only ppl with turbo lancers n turbo cars join these forms... good luck with the sale...

from what damage it had before his done a good job (by the looks) at fixing it... yes the wheel ark does not have a good flow from the image but what do u expect for a car that was damaged that bad on the rear...

thats a lie that thats all people care about, because i dont give a shit about that, whats getting me is that people are putting their input that it has rail damage and whatnot. no one knows the blood sweat and tears i put into that car, so i dont appreciate people telling others on the forum that the car has all this damage that it just dosnt. the car is 100% up to specs. i would like to invite everyone to personally come and have a look at the car and then tell me where this supposed damage is!!!!!!

you know im just laughing now because after putting in so much work into something like that, all to have a couple people just slag it of and post pics of it and carrying on about how bad it is , i would like them to spend a solid month/7days a week on it like i did and see if they wouldnt be pissed of if someone did this to them. And the other thing is i work from home and i do jobs for customers all the time at 1/2 the price of any panel shop but because everyone stuffed me over i will definetly never offer this foum that service ever, and before you all go on saying will never need it any way just look at my gsr when it was smashed cause you never know it might be yours and just to make you all feel better the final price of repair and paint was $1000.... Dan.

That doesnt really help you if youre trying to sell it. I wouldn't be buying a car that had been badly damaged, and repaired for 1000 bucks in someones backyard.

Have you had the car engineered/checked over? especially the rear suspension assembly?

What I stated before you should try and understand, Forums in general provide information about certain things, eg cheap prices, dodgy workshops, stolen cars etc etc

Having said that, I do understand where you are coming from, having spent time on the car to get it back up to scratch, however,
The fact that you have initailly tried to cover up this cars history, and are now having to defend yourself in the form of immature retorts and generalised attacks, does not give you much ground to stand on.

Please read the forum rules located here: http://4gtuner.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31

And please post a bit about yourslef and your car in the Introductions section.

Further breach of forums rules in this thread will leave me no choice but to lock this topic, and the other topic to which this directly relates

cheers.

dan

Ok well if it is a dodgy repair im still confused to why all the panels line up and how the wheels are 100%in line , please tell me am i retarded do i need help? whats going on? if i am a dodgy backyarder? i am a qualifed panel beater as i have stated. what is the difference if i do work at home or at a workshop? it is still had the same work done to it as it would in the workshop has it not? dont tell me that i do dodgy work because it seems like your the one that is being offensive.

mmmm true... i do mechanic work at my house... i'm not dogy cause i act as if its my own car n take care of it... it looks as if his done a good job with his...
