This is what happens when...

...you use cheap valves on a high performance car

the head of the valve fell off after shut down on a cool night and the next morning when i started it up it was a little bit rattley to say the least, this damage was done within 10 minutes.

no, my new engine is already under way, keeping a tight lid on it for now...although most of the brisbane guys know what i'm up to anyway

wow similar to mine.. but my valve pretty much welded itselt to the piston..
hope the new engine doesn't let you down.

cheap ones from work, could have paid 4 times the price for ferrea but didn't see the point at the time...

Super Cheap Auto - You get the lot for less & it'll cost you more in the end

Buying cheap mechanical parts will always bite you in the ass lol

yes, i know that, but i couldn't afford anything more at the time, like i said earlier the motor has been through 128 valves, at least 50% of those were no fault of mine or the valve.

and i don't appreciate you ragging on where i work either, you get the same parts at autobarn, repco, aussie auto, bursons, thats not what this forum is about

What part were they exactly so we know not to get them in the future.

I've just used some stock oem valves in my head. A bit concerned now (AMG engine).
