meek are sold out and the mits parts dealer did a country wide data search and he couldn't find any dealer with one in stock.

does anybody know where i can get 1 asap?

thanks,

nate

No, dont use silicon lol
Make one out of gasket but make sure it is made properly though and not backyarder styles.
I can get my parts guy to check for you.

i dont think they are available from mits anymore, i couldnt get one from ralliart and got one of meeks last ones a few months back.

I think he means don't just use sillicone.

I made one out of gasket paper on my old VR4 and it worked a treat, just make sure u take your time cutting it out properly and seal it with a little bit of gasket sealer of ur choice

one of my engines has just silicone for intake to head and tb to intake.
have also done the same with my current engine i have just done and it works fine besides my cold idle, only reason for asking.

sorry to hijack.

Basically cos its dodgy as hell and will eventually blow out. No reason not to use a gasket...unless your dodgy or broke.
Silicon when clamped can also squeeze and clog galleries.

Silicone might end up blocking holes for idle.
Paper gasket do the business, you can get them in different tickness.
