Turbo choices (keep in mind i have no idea about turbos)

If you are still getting that fluttering noise when you have a BOV, then it's not been adjusted right. Loosen (Soft) it till the sound turns into the Pppsssscccchh air noise.
Also make sure that you have the Vacume/Boost line conected to the BOV, that will also hold it closed under boost so it wont leak & make the valve to fully open when you change gears or lift off the power (Vacume) :wink:

According to GFB, flutter/compressor surge has not proven to be a problem at low rpm/low boost, its when the rpm's climb and there is greater load on the turbo that it can damage things.

my vac line is connect it wasnt but now is and the bov is fuged and it is all the way soft but it is soft

i currently have a 16g big i think, and it has been hiflowed by atp
what would this turbo do to my power would it be later in the rpm range?

Thats a small ass turbo..

I spoke to the previous owner of your car.. he believe it is a hi-flow turbo with a TC06 front wheel.. It was done in tullarmarine at a place called ATS not ATP.

Supposedly it ran only 1 ever twelve second pass.. but im not sure if he has the time slip.

hmm ok so that turbo is no good for me then.

ok so it was ats that did the turbo i just thought it was atp coz i remember him saying the turbo was done there and thats the sticker on the rear window oh well
