Have a tired turbo on the hsg. Think it is the original turbo. It is a td05H 16g. Not blowing any smoke but squeals under load if I floor it just after starting engine, especially if engine is not hot. I imagine the play in the shaft bush allows the inducer to touch the inside of the inlet housing when the exhaust wheel is under load?? Have seen the rebuild link in the cc Lancer section. Looks straight forward except for balancing shaft. Just one question. Is this turbo a flat back or super back? 2 types of complete rebuild kits on eBay from saga. Not sure which one to get.!
