Since I have 2 very new EVO7 ECU where is possible to use ECUflash to change parametrs, does any one could help me to write a road map showing how to convert my harness 1995 Colt GTI with 1.8 4G93 to a EVO7. ??? I already have a EVO7 turbo installed with custom header, and a lot of changes in my ECU program file, but since the original file does not reconize know flows when the engine go to positive 0.5 bar pressure the cloose loop is killing me... the best thing will be to change to a EVO 7 ECU...I already have the EVO7 MAF sensor, camshaft phase sensor, map sensor, what else???

Just chip the ecu thats in there, Converting a gsr to run with a E7 ecu has actually not enough plus's going for it to make it worth while.

hi mate.
a place here in Sydney called Meek Automotive have done this before
Not sure what was involved though?!
Maybe give Chris a call to see if he can help +61-2-97691586

 its been done but I'll ask exackly why you want to do this as said there is a very small margin of tunability not enough to warrant over a stock ecu chipped will do 98% of what the 7 Ecu will do.

All depends on aplication and set up

I was looking to do exactly this, but gave up because to me it looked like tuning via ECUFlash looked like too much of a pain in the ass so used the Autronic SMC I had instead. If I didn't have the SMC I'd have taken the Evo VII ECU route over the stock EPROM types any day

A mate of mine has a 4WD Mirage running an Evo I-III 4G63 using an Evo VII ECU. The swap itself is reasonably simple if you take the time to look closely at the pinouts and compare plugs to ECUs.

Doesn't look like this guys been back since his original post anyway
