try getting a price from motorware in clayton rich.

I second that, Stan got me a good price for my cannon style Varex and installed it too.

I've said it a few times but I'll say it again :D installing a Varex on my car was one of the best things I've done, as EVO-00X said, it's perfect for early morning/late night driving around the neighbours and is very discrete around the police when the valve is closed.

Now that my engine is running and sounding beautiful with 280 cams in it, the thing sounds mean and loud idling with the Varex open. When I close the butterfly it sounds like a totally different car... the induction of the engine makes more noise than the exhaust! Fkn excellent muffler!

pft I reckon I will just get one and make it fit, just waiting on a couple of prices from ppl or I will just shop with the reliability of Ebay and pay a little more but in the end have less headfucks than dealing with buisinesses that are only open while I am at work.

i had a -very- quick look yesterday on aussie ebay and the only places i found with these were in nz... like i said very quick look.. hehe... i'l be buying one in around 2 months when i get home so keep us informed on how you go if you dont mind :)

I wish they'd have the option of buying them without tips!

Glad they have got one with 3.5" ins and outs- thats the one I will be using for my car- I just hope it fits!

Hmm I can't find one without a tip? It would be nice to just have it as a hotdog in the middle of the car rather than a can at the end.. IMO.

Anyone have photos of theirs fitted up? I was told that the ovel units don't fit well onto our cars, as the motor on top forces you to mount it lower down from the car.

Was thinking of the round version to have the motor on the side, but would be nice to see how successful people have been.

Thanks MatS, I'm going blind :( very good idea though when I do my exhaust I want one of those mat blacked in the middle!
