What Revs to you take your 4G63 to??

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

There are many different ratios between the cars
the Diesels are different to Petrol
Sports gear N/A and SSG are different
Auto and Manual are different

There should be 3 different ratio's all up

3.909 - HSG Manual
3.307 - HSG Auto
3.545 - Sports Gear N/A Auto

Confirmed these with Photos of my 3 RVR's..

I've never seen any autos with 3.545. That's a manual (GSR/VR4) ratio for sure. They are all 3.307.

My old sports gear N/A 5speed was 3.909

I've got a photo if you want me to post it up. N/A Auto runs a W4A32 Gearbox whereas Turbo Rvr's have a W4A33. Totally different boxes internally I believe too.

VR4 & RVR auto turbo awd boxes have W4A32 & W4A33 writen on them.
Matt is the RVR N/A auto an awd box ? The one you say that has a 3.545 rear.
Cheers !

Coudln't get the pic to resolve clear enough

I had a W4A32 1WMQ

Now, I know it doesn't add up, however a guy near the bottom states he has the same thing, a 3.545 final drive on a SSG Auto as well. So I'm wondering if Mitsi had a different ratio set between the models depending on your factory options?

Apparently my front coilovers are 'Buddy Clubs' to suit a CC Lancer,

You can see pics of them on my new post in 'Members Cars'
