such weak gearboxes! as someone said before they have the same gearboxes as the standard imprezas. would have thought they'd make a stronger one for the wrx!

pft that don't happen in my Mitsubishi, you have no idea how many input shafts are laying around the workshop... they make the perfect clutch alignment tool.

late model STI's have a stronger 6 speed box that if you break that you are making SERIOUS power.

omg the 'late' model sti's, jesus our mitsus are 15 years old some with 150+ thou k's on the box yet we still hammer the fuck out of them, we shouldnt even be comparing wrx's to any performance mitsu.. even my ggsr box took lots of 2nd gear launches with a 6 puck..
dont even put them in the same thread, compare wrx's to a bloody mazda bubble, cause i think there gboxs might just be in the same league,
