yer thats my parts car but will match the VR4 bump i hope if i measured it right... .... more like guesstamate..... they are a lil wider then the GSR 2 peice bumper.... also waiting on the E30 head lights to come in at the wreckers..... you can kinda guess the idea with those lights

thanks bro, i'll finish this GSR then i'll start a VR4 or import a ZR4

Is that a GSR lip on a VR4 bar?

does it fit?

youve put too much work into this car to sell it

Turbo it!!! :D

dude that looks awesome, i had an r31 skyline for a while and tryed wide body front guards... looked like ASS compared to this.. lol.. they looked like crap anyway..

nice job man, mite try this my self sometime...

Matt

i wanna try the rears as well, but my CB lancer GSR's rear 1/4s are part of the chassis.. dont really wanna mess them up...

the GSR lip is approx 4 inches to short for the sides, i did it ages ago when we started talking bout lips for our front bars matching the Honda accord ones, i put it on to take photos and cbf takin it off lol....

as for turbo...... way ahead of ya JAP63 i have a GSR n/a 4g63 engine waiting for Port and polish, up compression, rough cams (if i can find any), i'm making the tuned exhaust and possibly a tuned intake runners..

as for the rear lancergsr4g61, i think i'll just get those flared for the mean time and make the wide guards when i can be bothered again lol..... i kinda need to as the size of rim i'm gonna be running...

yer bro i welded/filled it and sprayed the bonnet, the out lay of the E6 came from some guy in Footscray Melb, he had it on display so i offered him cash.... i might be able to get another one but in plastic, but i'm not fond of the plastic ones as they can deform from the engine heat.....

well its different from the VR4 bonnet ...

top work there. very impressive for a diy.

im eager to see how the rear will turn out.
also, why did you decide to widen the front guards in such a way? wouldnt it have been easier to flare em like the evo6 look?? that way all the body panels would match up perfect and you still get that extra wheel well room

still looks phat :)

keep them pics coming

alex

this is the only reason why i'm widening my guards

i picked up WORK Rezax V1 for sooo cheap its not funny, soo i want them on my car.... sooo making them fit...

dun mind the gap will look odd but dun really care as they serve a purpose.......

not as off yet, been at work mostly..... i have a few weeks leave soon so updates up very soon..........

Ah u bastard.....work mesh rims..with a lip... :D

What size and width/offset...

Time to play with wheel setups.. 8)
Give me a PM should u need any help

Jamie.

lol Jamie bro the first PM u sent me bout the offsets and sheit were off the hook already dont think i need any more infor bro! thanks for that BTW....

the WORK Rezax V1 (mesh), are both 45 offset so the rears 17X8 just fit in the guard like yours Jamie, the fronts are gonna be 17X9 sooo thus wide front guards.....

plans comin up are the wide guards are goin on after some primer and some round lights at the front......
