I guess that's going to depend on how well the 'New Mob' starting running the place now. I personally hope this year is the start off something good for Barbagallo's, for way too long it's treated as a private club and anyone not within the inner circle, or sucking the sausage of someone within the inner circle, it wasn't worth the 15min drive from my house to even contemplate being a member there. During the campaign to elect the 'New Mob', lots of promises were made, including talk of a rallysprint series for 2014. I am being totally selfish here, I do get really fucked off having to drive 1.5hrs in peak hour traffic with a car trailer to have four runs at a rallysprint in the dark, then an hour drive home, unpack and bed no earlier than midnight, getting 4.5 hours sleep before work. A good venue in the north for something other than door bangers is well needed.
I give them a year to come good and change the culture of the club, if not, I agree totally with your idea.
