I obviously don't what the specs of the car are..... Settle down clutz, it was just an opinion, let's not get personal. Don't forget that crocket was after an opinion at the start. Still said it looks like a reasonable purchase tho.
Top mount and tdo4 don't spell EVO 6 to me.
The salesman reference was more about the insurance side. However, I had a look around and they do quote 250 HP and a good slab of Tourque to go with it. So, even though they way a decent 1500kg plus, would still be fun.

if you look at the pic of the engine it is definitely a similar motor to the later 4g63t. Thats where the term evo 6 detuned comes from..it essentially has a smaller turbo and injectors which could be easily swapped to gear from an Evo...which would bring it on par with a later model evo...so the guy selling it is actually correct.

To avoid confusion...there are plenty of td04 variants...seller clearly states its a td04hl so its not a td04 off a 1.8l GSR.

TD04 = 47.0mm in, 40.0mm ex
TD04L = 47.0mm in, 41.3mm ex
TD04H = 52.0mm in, 44.2mm ex
TD04HL = 52.0mm in, 45.6mm ex
