As above, must be STRAIGHT, stripped (not mandatory), and complete.

If anybody can point me in the right direction that would be sweet :)

There is a reason you cant use the original shells anymore..

Its alot of screwing around if you wanted to use the EVO shell and if Vic Roads find that you have used a non australian or engineered shell..

You will get screwed, car will be deregistered or flagged on the system, you may have to put your car through engineering, you may have to take it to a EPA Testing station and have the car emissions tested etc etc etc.

Would the change be worth it? It may be, but get caught, and well, just would not be worth it and they may make your current chasis and vin non registerable meaning , you will be left with a car that is only worth its parts ..

But, if you go ahead good luck hope it all works out..

yeah im not convinced on the idea myself.

main reasons for doing it would be for body strengthening, and to be able to paint the whole car in and out /top to bottom in the right colour....

plus theres some downsides to my current one anyway....

just do that to you current car, just take the car to any race prep place and have it seam welded, (it wont cost to much) and then just re paint that shell.? it seemed a bit silly to me to do a whole swap over for little gain. Infact i thin k a seam welded GSR would be far stronger than a stock evo.

Is it just the strut tower bracing, and that V brace behind the rear seat? Or are there more subtle differences?

Also, what seam welding are you talking about?
