WTB: EVO/GSR Viscous LSD R/H cv cup
Hi guys, as the title says, I'm chasing up a cv cup for the viscous front LSD GSR/EVO gearbox for a friend please. He recently bought one of the rare GSR RS NRWE viscous LSD gearboxes but didnt get the LSD cv cup with it. Located Newcastle, will pay for postage.
Thanks Rob.

*rubs his hands together* i reckon i have one of these.!!! at one stage i had 2 NRWE boxes...

will have to check for ya. they have the extra stub on the end of the driveshaft yer?

Jon

*whips out Beretta* I reckon if I hold it to your head you'd co-operate! lol :w00t:
Yes please Jon, can you have a look see in your parts warehouse :)

Yep, arrived Wednesday. Nice solid unit that one, definitely billet :) . Now the boys have something to chuck in the AWD's when we only got acess to 2WD dynos :)

yes they do for the rear viscous but not the front

the front viscous shaft is longer than standard

U sure brian??

When i did my conversion with my box, i layed the shafts beside each other and the drivers side shafts were the same length, the passenger side shaft was longer

absolutely certain.....I have a set in my shed right now and was showing the difference to my brother last weekend. these are the same as the set i have in my car...so that is two sets ive seen then there is my brotheres swet as well, his is an evo 1 with an lsd box.....they are being rebooted right now but will be here tomorrow....i can check them if needed to see if they are the same?

here are three pictures of the passenger side shaft from a front lsd box.

two of the shafts in the pictures are lsd shafts...the other a non lsd shaft.

you can clearly see the splines section is shorter.

Great pics of the passenger side cv shafts Brian :) Its good to see the difference in passenger side LSD (shorter) and non LSD shaft (longer) in a photo. If you got the right equipment it looks like you can shorten a non LSD shaft to suit. :)

The driver's side shaft (minus the longer cup stubby) is the same length regardless of LSD and non LSD eh? Thats was the only concern.

the shaft is the same on the drivers side ..yes. just the cv is different and only in the length of the splines section ov the cv, the cup area is the same.

however i think it note worthy that the passengers side be shortened to suit

Hi Guys
I thought you would this out there.
Can anyone tell me for sure, If all the internals of a Rear GSR Viscous LSD will fit/swap into the Libero rear Diff housing? Are they interchangable and is there any differences with the axils, length, splines, seals, what ever??Thanks.
Regards Neil
