Wtb fwd gearbox

Hey peeps. I'm looking for a fwd cb gearbox. I think galant boxes have the same mount so should fit aswell.

Need it in melbs or decent price and I'll consider getting it shipped interstate.

Think it'll bolt up? It'll bolt to the motor.
I'm just curious about the cc mount. The plate on chasis is the same from what I can see. But the gearbox plate is 3 holes not 2.

Do you need a Proton GTI flywheel and clutch assy?
I have one in good condition...

And thank jack. I've looked at a few pick a parts. But they have all done 300,000. Except one in the west. Was going to go get it this weekend

At damaged auction you will get whole car for less than price for a gearbox. But choose carefully, my mrs bought a car without a engine once. Lol

Parts will be pricey for that one.
And remember it's at auction for a reason.
I prefer a front or rear end write off as at least they were going ok the day they smashed.

A owner that can't afford repayments on a BMW won't fork out to service it.

Problem solved heli coiled an m10 into it. Now it's on nice and strong

is this the box that kept spitting out the rollstop mount bolt?

so, you did both of the bolts? and now they do up tight and will accept full tension?

No box ever did the roll stop mount bolts on the cb it's like vr4 they are on the engine not the box

It was always the bolt between the box and engine at the rear (above diff)
And yep it takes full tension.
