4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Dont call me a fool because I already know I am one, but OFFON-4 has shown me the light- I should be focusing on my main project which is my 'borg!

The GSR is a nice car and goes great but its quickly taken my time (and $$$$) away from the main situation at hand.

Ive decided to let the GSR go (will be listed for sale next week after a service etc) and pick up something a little more practical, which is what i should have done from the start.

Rob- that car looks/sounds great, what stud pattern is it? Let me do a little seaching of the local market and get back to you!

thanks,

dre

No probs, it's 4 x 114.3 same as EVO/GSR stud pattern  I must admit I didnt consider a Nimbus as a family car until I got it and man, it's been excellent and dare I say... practical - whenever we go anywhere we take it because of the ease it is to put the kids in and out and put the pram and shopping etc in the back - I actually like it as it make my job easier loading and unloading the car with kids and crap  I was gonna put a flip down TV screen in the roof and a dvd player for the kids but the Mrs wants that in her pink EVO 3 lookalike sedan. She also owns a Proton M21 coupe, add my AWD turbo coupe and then the Nimbus, it makes 4 cars and we gotta sell one so the Nimbus got the cut. I reckon she knew I had plans to do it up like this one - they look much better and have more versatility than an RVR any day I reckon  (the pics below are of one in Ignition DVD #7 and it has a VR4 turbo engine in it  ) http://www.teamgroundzero.net/pages/member_sydney_ronnell.htm

For the price the Nimbus are great value and offer a lot. I've seen Toyota Tarago's on CarSales.com go for double that price for the same year model - check it out

Such a shame we dont get the Chariot GT's here (Nimbus 4G63T 4WD, basically a 5 door RVR turbo)

What?? It's far from ugly, I can name lots of cars uglier than that starting with the Mitsu Delica  I suppose when they look standard they dont offer much but you gotta agree that the thumbnails pics earlier in this thread show what they can look like. All my mates like the shape of the Nimbus and not one has said anything bad about it. The Chariot eh? you mean someone can get imported AWD parts and shove it under their Nimbus?? now that'll be different
