14b housing getting tired and it's the only thing restricting in the exhaust now. If anyone has the flame ring to suit also, that would be appreciated =)

Still after one, didn't end up getting a hold of any. Cheers..
 
rather get a 2nd hand one in decent nic than shell out that much on a new one. Lucky to get that if i eventually managed to sell the 14b =P
 
save up and get one of those new ones omad
they have the larger wastegate flapper plate and the larger inlet (no flame ring)

well worth it if your after extra flow
 
abit off topic but can you get the same exhaust housing but to suit external wastegate? IE mitsu exhaust mounting orientation but no wastegate flapper?

A lot of US turbos come with bolt on mitsi style housings that are set up for external, so have look around US vendors i recon.
The other things people with stock housings, while not ideal here they are, weld the wastegate flapper shut and run external off the manifold.
Or remove the flapper, widen the wastegate port and run an external off it, like in line with a split dump

yes that's what I'm after, but haven't found anything :thumbsdown:. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just can't justify it to myself for the 14b tho. I have doubts I'll be getting bad boost creep with the little buggar. Gone this far with it still bolted on, just want to see what I can get out of it before I upgrade =)

Yep. If you have a dead turbs with a good housing that'd be ideal. Otherwise a complete e316g is worth more and I'd prob be interested!
 
I've got a flame ring for you but nothing else as I machined my old 14b housing out and never run a flame ring on the 4g93t
 
the larger wastegate on the after market housing will help with the boost creep. they are also made of much better metals so wont crack like the early housings also.

i have a vr4 small 16g complete turbo i can do cheapish if your keen pm me.
