YouTube downloader

Hi all,

I did a search on this but didn't find anything on 4GTuner about YouTube down-loaders.

the one I use is free software, and allows you to download and keep a copy of any YouTube video. It also automatically downloads the highest resolution version available if you want.

Half the really good (i.e. controversial, inflammatory or libellous) YouTube videos get deleted, so you never get to see them again. Or if you watch a YouTube video regularly, you have to fully download it everytime you want to watch it.

I presume a lot of us know about these Youtube downloaders, but I thought I'd post it up just in case you didn't know about them. There are a heap of youtube downloaders out there, but I have found this one to be the best (and it's free).

i found if you just use real player, when u install the prog it also installs a plugin for your browser so you can save any video on any site.

Yep.. +1 for RealPlayer - works well and is easy to use... As you say it works on almost any site not just Youtube.
I haven't as yet tried any of the others mentioned above...

Does realplayer allow you to save sound files from youtube as Mp3s?

Id say you'd have to download them in the format they are originally in.
Then just get a converter

i thought all you had todo was change the youtube to 3outube in the url and thats how you download a video.
