You would think finding 70mm throttle body gaskets in a Mitsubishi flange would be easy right?? wrong lol.
You could buy Ford Mustang 70mm items but you need to elongate the mounting holes slightly to make them fit. Plus when you need one fast, you cant always get your hands on one.

Anyhow, I have made my own in the past by tracing the throttle body flange onto gasket paper, but it can get a bit fiddly and messy and you really want one ready to pop in to minimise downtown.

So today I thought *** it, I scanned the gasket from my 70mm S90 throttle body and pasted it to scale into the attached pdf document!!
I have printed this out on A4 paper and it matches the gasket in size 100% (make sure your printer properties doesnt have a tick in the 'stretch to fit page' option before you print it out).

You can now use it as a template to cut out of your desired asket paper to save some mucking around in future.
Hope this comes in handy.

Or for those who just want dimensions I've included a quick pic with measurements as well - I dont have time to draw it out properly on computer as the pdf document gives me what I need to cut out at scale and use as a template :)

Nice work Rob!

Something I did when I made my own throttle body gasket was spray it with copper spray on both sides prior to installation. Seems to be holding up nicely sofar!

good job,

or just machine an o-ring onto the back of the throttle body, seals nicely against the face of the manifold, and then you dont have thin bits in sections that may blow out ;)

So did mine, thats what I scanned above ^^^^ I thought I didnt get one so I started to make my own gasket, then when I went to check the box under the paperwork, I found it in there :)
The size of the gasket hole was actually 68-69mm, so I had to enlarge the circumference by 1mm to make it 70mm exactly, so there was no gasket lip protruding inside the TB.
