correct!! aka the temporary measure, not fix :) I've had the valve stem seal issue for the 7 years Ive had the car, and the HKS BOV i had before was ext vent and it leaked a little, that caused smokage naturally, ripped that out, and fitted an evo 2 BOV, piss weak POS leaks above 12psi...

leaky: valve stem seals BOV I have the same symptoms and these two issues wynns stop smoke works a treat (temporary measure obviously)

I have tried pretty much every oil mits recommend from factory 10W 40... penrite say go up a grade for older motors, i did and its the best I have come accross (including motul) I use HPR15 www.penrite.com.au

your current turbo might be a crack whore :wink: perhaps why you cant get any more boost.. turbosmart t pieces spike I would check the turbo/ do your rebuild, before changing boost control just IMO PS There's also only about 50cfm difference between the 16G and the 20G
