Getting rid of the balance shafts is an engine out job imo. Too much stuffing around trying to clear the passenger chassis rail, then trying to rotate the bearings. Not worth it, especially on a stock motor. Just swap both belts, new tensioners/pulleys and be on your way.

9 has a bigger comp/turbine housings, different turbo outlet, and different oil/water lines. To go on a 4-8 you'll need a fitting kit from gtpumps or the like.

Other than the banjo, From what i can remember, piston size is slightly smaller on the vr4 calipers.

I just checked my evo one. Exactly the same. Though the pic you posted (2much's cluster) above seems to be the 180km/h jspec gsr/evo, not the 240km/h.

The actual hub assembly itself needs the rear driveshaft in it and the big nut on the outside of it to hold it all together. Just like the front. If you can get shafts just use the outer cups while you are fwd. The only bolt on way to go 4x114.3 is to use cj4a cyborg mirage rear hubs. You can...

Wait so you are using gsr trailing arms and no gsr rear shafts/cups? Nothing is holding the bearing/hub assembly together.

Aren't they the same as the door trim clips?
