Alright guys; Bought a 2nd galant for a runabout and theshifter has ALOT of slop in it, mostly side to side... Pulled the cover off, and there is no bushes at all. Looking at it; i'm considering putting fibre washers on the inside/against the shifter itself, and metal washers outside that...

Not having a go or anything, but I've seen alot of people not even recognise peel; and to get a mirror finish without buffing (even with 2k), you'd likely be flow coating it. Acrylic will peel alot more than 2k off the gun, unless it's a metallic, and should always be buffed. 2k is an off the...

Glad I've spent the last year learning how to paint then... save myself a small fortune :D but I can appreciate how hard the prep work is, and how tedious painting is. Hire a booth and DIY ftw.

ehhh... i dunno that any paint would really handle wear and tear like that. An enamel, or hammer coating might do it but.

i was looking at getting glow shift ones too. What wide band comes with the AEM one? LSU 4.9 is meant to be the better and newer one.

I use nulon full synthetic 10w40... noice oil. If was driving it hard, or trackign it, would opt for a 10w60 or 15w60. Would stay away from 20w oil or higher unless is a worn motor, else will wear more on startup.

pretty sure mine is about 1k idle, maybe a little under, with 760cc injectors and vipec v44

they seem to be alot cheaper to import though? A while ago, I was looking to get 2 metal cats and a muffler, was under 500 i think from that seller.

that's a hell of alot of criteria. Twin tips = alot more cost too. I'd say you'd best look at importing a magnaflow muffler... or finding a 2nd hand one for that budget. Something like this...
