Hey so my clutch In my Libero 4g93t 4wd starting to play up
whats happening is i jump in the car in the morning clutch feels normal
but after a bit of driving it becomes real hard to push in.
one day the push rod pushed right through and clutch pedel dropped to the floor
clutch fluid dropped out
so i put a longer push rod in the slave cylinder so it cant push through
but still same thing with new slave cylinder to soft in the morning then goes hard
now the thrust bearing is noisy

It had a new master cylinder in it when i brought the car about 6 months ago

any one no what this is?

I will try to help but for future posts, please put some sort or breaks between sentences as that was hard to understand.

so...when you push the clutch in the pedal is hard? have you had a look at the pedal assembly as that is the usual cause of the symptoms you describe. often the mount where it attaches to the body is cracked and this allows the pedal to travel crooked to the alignment of the clutch master cylinder...there is sometimes a click or creaking noise that is a give away for a cracked pedal. next you should check the fire wall for cracks too.

question....what is the bore size of the new master cylinder? IF the bore is over size it will cause over travel of the slave cylinder

check for these and report back

Thanks ill check all that tomorrow and get back to you thanks for the help.

i think i've had a similar thing are you trying to say it start of soft then gets hard toward the botom of the push. if so your clutch has worn to pretty much then end of it's friction material or it's time to do the pivot ball spacer mod either way the box may need to be dropped to fix
