AU XR8 v GSR

I have a mate with a el xr8 with te50 motor installed with a full exhaust pod filter and a microtech ecu.This car only made 180 kw at the wheels and ran a 14.0 (cant remember the mph) I took him for a run in my gsr (with a evo engine conversion) on 15psi and he shat himself and admits hands down that my car would kill his.A te50 motor is 220kw so i really can't see him making more power with a stock xr8 engine :roll: Goodluck but im sure that you wont need it.

BTW my mates off to get a blower now to settle the score :twisted:

The first two series TE/TS50s had 220KW, the later AUIII was the real one, 250KW, with a stroked version of the windsor. Think it ended up being around 5.6 liters and a shed load of torque. But they were never the drag cars the LS1s were/are.
