Fills the void behind the 18's nicely too!!!! And stop?? Oh yeah they stop really quickly, cooked my last set of E3 calipers at the track as you can see in the middle pic, can't wait to get out there with these brakes on now!! Cost me $600 for the lot.....

Direct bolt up? i know there would be a rotor redrill in order also!! Did you get the brakes off ricki?

my set will be direct bolt up for your car as its already drilled to 4x100 for you ted..and no i still have my setup for sale waiting for you mate..hahaha

Hey Jesse, to answer your questions, with the bracket you can see attatched to caliper in 2nd pic(Justjap I think) they bolt straight up, just gotta trim or remove dust sheild to accomodate. The GTO rotors do need to be redrilled also. And longer studs were needed...
And no, these aren't off Rickii.

Sorry Jamo completely missed the bracket!!! awesome!! and Rickii im still thinking about it....hard!!! will they fit behind 17's?

Im open to any suggestions its going to be drag based so i want something better than factory but nothing i can fit behind a set of 17's

Might be lucky to find some 17s with the right offset...The fella I got them off had some old 17 inch Sparco multi-spoke jobs on the car he had the brakes on.
They need a fair bit of clearance behind the spokes to fit... I have a 10mm spacer with 18 inch wheels on mine to accomodate this. Hence the longer studs being needed which I mentioned before.

John-I had the E3 calipers and braided lines and still cooked mine on the track!! (see above pics) What you suggest would definately be a good upgrade over the single piston crap that's standard, especially for a drag car-seeing as they only get used once per run!

Sorry man- I had them for sale on here a few weeks back they went pretty quickly.
And yes E3 stud pattern is 4 x 114.3

Hit boostboy76 up?? Posted above.... He was selling some calipers, pads, discs and lines(I think) etc last week, he's probably still got them and is awesome to deal with...
What he has/had would be right up your alley if you wanted to do it quick and easy...

If its drag based id just got the evo 1-3 twin pots, or vr4 or Magna versions of the twin pots. Your not doing repetitive stops building up heat and don't want add even more rotating mass by going the larger GTO rotors to match the calipers. Its its not a circuit car i don't see the point.

^Spot on...pretty much what I said couple of posts above.
No need for massive brakes on drag car, I agree... He didn't mention that before I had posted the pics and suggestion of the GTO brakes!
The gear that boostboy76 has for sale would be spot on.
He's only got pads and calipers left now...

Awesome thanks for the info and links gentlemen and appolagies for not specifying the drag side of things it is going to be a daily still just drag orientated i just want something beefier than standard.

What is Dave (OFFRON-4) using on his drag orientated GSR? The VR4/EVO1-3 calipers with larger discs (just get blanks and drill to the 4x100 stud pattern) will also fit under 15" rims (which would suit if you were to get really really serious about drag racing and wanting to go to a smaller rim with larger profile tyre).

You could also just whack some steel pads in there - as you won't really be generating alot of heat to get most racing pads upto their proper operating temp. Steel pads will chew the shit out of your rotors but they stop you really quick straight off the bat!!

Just ensure that whatever option you take you make sure your brake bias is not affected - the last thing you want to have happen is to stomp the brake pedal and have the car lock up.

twin pots would be great for your application of just drag racing and daily driving. but if u get the GTO brakes, that'll open up to some track work too when you get bored of the drags. and believe me, it does get boring after alot of straight line drag racing.

Yeah ive got a mate thats a machinist who will drill blank rotors for me. yeah im aware of my brake bias i will do abit of looking around to make sure its all good
and again thats right better off with something i can run a smaller rim with a sticky tyre in the future.
Thanks again fellas.
