Hey guys,
Quick question, everytime I put foot onto clutch and goto place into gear, a crunching grinding aircraft takes off, not alowing me to place into gear, hence pressuming a bearing of somesort or preasure plates, once in gear very jerky jumpy it runs fine without problem until i go to change again..
Checked out the master and slave cylinder they seem fine no leaking, and thinkng cant be clutch it self due to still driving when in gear, but is it worth just taking into be done, or does this sound like it can be a home job, or does anyone have a clue within having same issues??
Cheers

Try adjusting ur clutch pedal. There is a rod behind the pedal that leads through the firewall. Extend it a bit longer and that should disengage the clutch a bit more and helP u out :)

Tryed that just then, loosend all way, little better but still crunchies, tightend to see if quicker relase would help, still no go...

Is it once it's in gear....it feels like if y move the clutch pedal the clutch is already engaged and takes off?

allows me to go up gears but not down, feeling like it is already engaged, very stiff in the stick, knowing my luck its probably just the clutch itself with a spring broken

Once it's in gear as u lift the clutch for friction point...is friction point imediatenor halfway through release like normal. If u know what I mean.

Is your clutch hydrolic or cable?
If hydrolic- like I said above adjust under dash. There is a rod between pedal and master cyl. There is also the bolt on the pedal box itself which adjusts the pedal. But not the clutch movement. Make sure u adjusted the rod. Not the bolt

If cable- pop your hood and you will see the cable running out the firewall into the gearbox near radiator. You adjust it near the firewall.

In either option also check ur firewall for cracks and warps. Our cars are known for cracks where the clutch is when running hd clutches. That would affect ur clutch throw aswell. There are a few things u can do on a cable clutch to get more through. Washers ect at different points. You can also bend the clutch cable support on gear box if not careful too. I've had all these happen on my car in both hydraulic and cable.
