ahh i knew there was 2 diff ways!
see thats wierd, because on my CD5A, the only way it's really gonna bolt up is the CD9A way.
Not to worry. I think it should be sufficient.

That is strange .. I didn't read the instructions when I installed mine, but it's definitely installed as per the CD9A instructions rather than the CD5A.

yeh same as me,
i dont think its possible to bolt it up the CD9A way :s

its probably for non abs cars with a smaller master cylinder

Looks better with the bolt facing the right way around rather than backwards anyway lol
