E3 intercooler inlet and outlets

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

The throttle body elbow needs to be a 75mm to 63mm reducer 60 deg piece. MEEK does sell them but they're not cheap from memory. I don't think you can get that part commercially, he was saying something about having them made up specially.

I MAY have the one I was using as a temp on my car somewhere.

RE The wax pellet thing, can you just block that pipe off? Or is that going to cause other issues?

There is a pipe that runs from the idle control to the intake(just before the throttle body).

wax pellet block off is a plate sandwiched in between the 5 screw plate on throttle body from memory

Seems like I need to read up more about what this side of the wax pellet does.

From more reading on the EGR, you could essentially remove the vacuum from the EGR and it would never open if I am reading the maintenance docs right.

Which leads me to my next question, the stock boost control module thingy, from what I have read it needs to remain plugged into the ECU, but do the lines need to be hooked up?

Factory BC needs to be plugged in so the ecu see's it,
but doesn't need to be plumbed in at all.

Not saying you wrong but could you please explain why?
If theres a good reason ill plug mine back in even thought im not using it. I also havent knoticed a differnce but maybe im not considering something.

Your ecu is a lot happier when its seeing it than when its not plugged in
you dont have it plumbed in just the electrical side plugged in.

Well she has all her pipes reconnected, and errant vaccum lines blocked and she started and idled fine!

Now to put the bumper back on.
