I know there is settings for the tps. 300ohms at idle or something. But I think there is really 2 points that need to be correct.
1. Ecu must know that it should be idling. This sets the fuel cut on decel and also makes the ecu move timing around to stabilise idle.
2. You dont want your foot flat and the ecu thinking its at 85% throttle. Fairly obvious.
I say to set the tps, go full throttle (engine off and key on) and adjust the tps to be just reading 100%. Foot off and check the idle switch is on, and switches off very close to just opening throttle.
probably the idle switch is more important than 100%....if the ecu sees 100% throttle before accel is all the way down its not that bad.
This may be why your decel is harsh, if the idle switch comes on too early.
