My advice to you is what ever dismantaling you do decide to do at home make sure you keep things the way they were, as in dont just chuck all the pistons in a box, try to mark everythings directional orentation and order, centre punch witness marks are not recomended in a precision aplication but the old cruiser diesel should be ok

All i'll be doing is disconnecting the gearbox, disconnecting the mounts and any lines to the engine, removing the engine as a WHOLE PIECE and taking it to M&W.

I'm doing absolutely none of the disassembly or reassembly. I don't trust myself with that and don't have teh service manuals.

:shock: $8000 for drive in/drive out is raping you then raping your sister, mother and grandmother!!! damn that's expensive!!! Pity you couldnt do it all yourself and save shitloads. Maybe its time to learn or get someone who knows what they are doing to help you for cash in hand :wink: Thank fuk you're taking the motor out yourself and putting it back in at least :roll:
