cheers simon.

a few of us are already running these, and ive been having a few issues with mine. Jay has been great though. PM me if you want more details.

Come on Dre don't be like that

98% percent of people asking a question on a forum 9 times out of 10 don't ever use a search engine to find the facts themselves (or know how to use one)

i wouldnt say know how to use it, id say disappointed with the search results. even if u try to cut down the search area by selecting the category if stills doesnt come up with the results. so it then takes hours upon hours to get the answer ur looking for if u find it, so thats y people ask "stupid questions"

Main reason, There would be more room for a larger turbo / dump, the other reason I can think of is weight distribution, having more weight between the strut towers as apposed to the very front of the car.

would it also be to keep the alternator away from heat of the manifold/dump ? what problems are people having with these kits? I'd be interested in one if they fit up OK.
cheers

Ive only heard of one case where the main bracket had snapped, But JR are using better, stronger materials now. I think they might've had a bad batch somewhere along the line.

its not that i dont know how to use the search function its the fact that my net is like a slug. so less waiting for me and more waiting on you. hehehe ;)

I'd rather keep aircon  :p Dan, you had pics of your relocator from the same company up in this forum before didnt you? it broke after not much use didnt it?

yeah as people have said people do it mainly in the US to make more room for a big ass turbo and dump setup. weight would be a very very small factor. and the last and my main reason is because of heat. i have gone through 5 alts now since i had my turbo engine in, mainly because of the dump pipe i run sits about 15mm away from it, even with a heat shield i have trouble still with killing them.

anyway, i have read about trouble with clearance issues on the US DSM models, but nothing yet on anything we have over here.

dan, are you able to share with us what happened? if not can you just send me a PM with a couple of details? weather i get others interested or not ill still buy one, i need one and making my own proves very hard to get something straight.
