evo 3 turbo buzzing noise

at first i only got the noise at about 15psi and above but it started getting worse and starting at lower boost. i was told my turbo is bad and will eventually fail completely. my question is this, if i need to get a new turbo, what do u reccommend? i hear those ebay turbos for about $250 are a waste of money. how much will i have to spend for a good turbo? i am not looking to upgrade, just want to bolt on and go.

You have a few choices

Either buy a new complate turbo, turbo without turbine housing or buy a new centre cartridge and throw it inside your turbo

But if you did want a lil bit more go, you can upgrade to a better 1 for around the same price

lol i dont. think so. but i am thinking of getting something a little better, but my concern is with fuel management, injectors and fuel pump.

Kando does good stuff. I've been lovin my 20g

Affordable too. If you stick with a td0516g u shouldn't need to worry about fuel injectors .

If you go larger you will probs want a tune to get all the benefits but not necisary (unless you go something spastic)
18g's are very popular and standard injectors will be fine. Or upgrade to the later Evo injectors again if you want full benefits (but again you'll need to get a tune)

You'll be safe running a TD05 18G or a 20G with the standard ECu, INJ and pump

Depends what boost ur running really, if its standard boost then wont need to upgrade

Im running a TD06SL2 20G on standard 510cc inj, standard rail, standard fuel reg but i have a walbro and its fine

If you want to be really safe just throw an EVO7/8/9 pump in it, they flow twice as much as the standard EVO3 pump

what luck started to take off the turbo to check to see if the housings are damaged and noticed several bolts seized and 1 severely rusted. waiting to see if penetrating oil will work

so i hope i can get an answer before tomorrow morning, cause i am going to put on the turbo tomorrow and i was wondering if there is anything i should do maintenance wise as i have the turbo on the ground
