Evo III Recaro SR2

Hey just to confirm, the seats in an E3 are known as the SR2 model correct?

The side bolsters appear to be suede...? I love the seats, the drivers side bolster is a little worn, and im gonna get it fixed up, but im wondering if there is anything that can be done to restore suede, the other bolster has what seems like a polish/glaze on it, i think its from the left leg rubbing against it as you push the clutch in and out.


Anyway, theyre great seats, are these considered to be one of the best recaros out?

Nah, they're crap, rip them out and I'll pick them up when I come to get the bonnet. Replace them with some you beaut Monzas.

I had a set in my old VR' and they were one of the best mods I did.

I remember a thread somewhere with replacement parts direct from the U.K for these seats.

good work Dre, this has been on my to do list for a while. i sent a purchase enquiry through for 2 sets (driver and passenger seat) so ill let everyone know how much were looking at delivered.

unless someone knows somewhere local to buy these?

so its gonna 155pounds which is about $350 for all 4 bolsters delivered, pricey, i might order just 2 as the ones closest to the centre console on both sides still seem ok

I mailed them before Christmas regarding some rails and still haven't recieved a reply... I wouldn't be counting on a reply coming at all.
