yep, well it's confirmed. Recaro don't supply the backrest foam for SR3 seats anymore. Capital seating recommended i take it down to a decent auto upholsters and get them to add more foam to the required areas.
Now that you mention pool noodle foam. I was wondering how well the latex would hold up on the corners. Seeing as though they would cop a fair amount of wear. I might try your suggestion Jack and fiddle with it to get it right.
Back to the drawing board then.

Today I was fixing a hyundai powerwindow motor. It needed brushes and I got some from a drill left out on junk day (verge collection, or whatever you guys have) and filed them down to fit, soldered them in and now they work.
No-one does that stuff, its all bolt out, bolt in. Shame really.
