ive got the GFB stealth FX one, cost about $400. you can switch between plumb back and atmospheric. I have confirmed with VicRoads that these type of blow off valves are legal and you cannot be defected for them as long as they are in plumb back mode.

I got mine from modyourcar.com.au as it was cheaper than buying it in the shops.

GFB make a lot of other ones that will bolt straight on to your existing flange, you don't need an adaptor.

Also, you adjust them with your wrist, you don't need any tools.

last time i asked them they said they are still defectable because they have the option to be vented to atmosphere..
maybe i just got a dud cop who didn't know jack..

i got defected for mine but thats because it wasn't vented back into the intake. both ports were venting to atmosphere because i hadnt had time to install the plumb back hose.

afterwards i rang up vicroads and they told me that they are legal according to vic roads, although the EPA may see them as an issue as they could possibly leak to the atmosphere :roll:

hey guys.. just put a deposit on a gsr on satday pending on racv inspection..

all it has atm is an exhaust and a filter.. was just wondering how do i get a flutter.. or what do i need to get it..

coz on my 02 rex wen i had it.. all i did was block the bov from the top mount cooler with a piece of cardboard.. although it stalls once in a while it was worth it..

is there any way i can get the flutter on my gsr..? and will it stall as well..

Get a second hand HKS Super Sequential BOV and adjust it until you get the desired "flutter" that you want. You wont be disapointed, they sound great.

and you'll also bent over if a cop sees it. go for the hybrid style or plumb-back. you will still get flutter with a plumb-back blow off valve

Isn't because it effects the fueling (I know its only for 1/10 of a second or so) and makes it run rich = more polution?

Sorry lorrie, regarding the dose pipe -

You run your AFM in your cooler pipes, or just piss it off all together with a fuel + ignition ECU. then you run the pipe off the mouth of the turbo.

Here is a new age dose pipe, complete with a custom mini filter :lol:

yeah a guy on firesport is selling a HKS SSQV for 200 bucks.. so ill probably get that and an adaptor for 50 bucks from autobarn or something..
or does anyone have one lying at home dey wana sell for cheaper den 50 bucks?
