FS Aspec Shell + Jspec bars/garnish/etc

If someone knows how to get the thing up here to Brissy please let me know. I'd love to buy it, but all the car carriers want around $1200 for the job.
Does anyone know if it could be done by rail?

Never seen a ggsr pod used as a gauge holder before? it's not really a new idea :/ They slot straight into a vr4 dash, just make a couple on incisions to expose the clips.

i have worked on this car, and its very straight and in awsome condition, if you can gather the parts, just bolt on and you have your own VR4....

or a very very nice white CUBE.....

Reason why I want it is because I have a spare engine+gearbox, so if I put those in, then a cheap VR4 is to be had. And one with a J-Spec bars! The A-Spec ones are hideous.

Seriously though, does anyone know how I could transport it relatively cheaply (if that's a word lol).

From what i have heard. if the car is non driveable.. then it costs more to transport..

Yeah, some places won't even do it if the car isn't driveable.

Unfortunately, this project doesn't seem very practical due to transportation costs.
If only you lived in QLD!!
Oh well. I hope you pick it up Mike. It would hurt to see a VR4 headed for the crusher.

Hrm. Lets do the math, 700 frmo the scrap yard for the 1200kg of steel in the shell, or I PAY 350 (after fuel and trailer) and spend 4 hours towing the shell to you and give it to you for free.

Doesn't add up. I'll take the scrap value.

I guess that would depend if you have an ABN, have dealt with the yard previously and know the owners.

Hold the panic buttons guys..... My Mt Gambier guys reckon its all still happening and their mate in Ballarat is still picking it up... Its just that we didnt have that much notice and we all have day jobs during the week...

Re scrap prices- you had better let me know who the yard is buying at that price. I have ABN's and know guys here in Adelaide and I would be struggling to get $350 for 1200kg ! I would get my mate to load up a semi and drive over with 30 tonne of scrap at that price. Well done if you can get that price Lorry !

Still, the price Lorry wants still gives us pretty good value.
