Just found mine in two pieces...yay lol

Is it best to go oem or is there an aftermarket unit worth putting in?

Also probably going to just do all the belts so anything I should be looking out to change? Things that are prone to being dead after 180,000km? LoL

if you have the big $$ to spend get an ATI balancer.B)

otherwise just a new aftermarket one does the job fine.

check out fluidampr they are a little pricey but worth every cent. DON'T get a lightweight underdrive pulley unless you want a broken motor!

I'd never use a lightweight pulley. The balancer is there for a reason.
Just go to Bursons, they should be able to get you another harmonic balancer.
If you want to save some money over the hugely expensive ati unit then look at fluidampr. They work well too.

Jurrel,

I have a spare ATI pulley in the shed.
I'm using a fluiddampr on my vr4 and a buschur racing alloy harmonic balancer on the amg.

What other things do I need painted lol?
I might be keen for a swap for more work.
