Does having a Daily driver make u smile more when you get in your "Go" car?
I think its a neccesaary for me. I reckon I'd lack excitement if i drove it every day, i love getting in my III and thinking, "Shit!, this feels like a race car"!

Votes pls, im interested....

Well my daily is/was a CB GSR, so the VI feels like a race car compared to that. But then lately I thought fuck it, I bought the VI, I might as well drive it! So I'm selling my dailys.

Doesnt even feel like i have my GSR, i havent seen it since September when i was last up in QLD for Jamboree

I only have pictures and bills to remind me that its mine LoL

+1. I could be rolling in an EVO 8- but all I have is a shell

Coming up 3 years for me in June- 2009 is the year though. No doubt.

To answer the original question. No- a non turbo RVR just simply does NOT cut the mustard. You wouldn't believe how many times i've wanted to drop a 7-bolt 4G63T in it. Its so painful. I don't recommend it.

A daily makes you forget that you have a performance car.... do it... you can't live without it.. that is only if you plan to work on your hi po car that is.. but if it is a mild one, forget about it

My daily is a Triumph Daytona 955, which is a lot faster than the VR4, but it's also pretty much stock, so it's very reliable.

It's nice being able to do something to the car and have it out of action, and not have to worry about how I'm going to get to work.

See my daily seems like it goes faster than my last daily... If that counts... Other than that, I forgot what driving my evo felt like about 3 months after it was off the road...

Im almost at the point where the daily is not the car... 1995 nissan bluebird FTW! I cant see myself in forced induction for a little while to come... Im even thinking about upgrading the daily...

I guess it is good in a way the novelty wouldn't wear off on the quick car.

But in saying that, nothing wrong with having your cake and eat it too, quick dailys FTW :D

I think having a daily is a good idea for some occasions:
Work carpark is known for break in's/stolen cars
Terrible roads to/from work
long distances on H/Way and you have a low ratio box/diff

But apart from that, I bought my car to enjoy :) and I enjoy it every day driving to work :)

Hahha, Im glad I included the third voting option, I knew it would get used by some of you guys, i couldnt imagine having a project car go on for years!..not unless it was a hotrod or similar....

I think getting back into the III after driving my SRi makes it feel special.Plus i dont wanna stack K's on a genuine E III either, if i can help it.

My daily (company vehicle) is a Mazda E2000 tray back light truck. The motor is straight from a mid '80's Mazda 626, it's carbied and even has a manual choke on it.

So even hopping into an old Toyota Corona would be a treat compared to that. Well, except when it comes to picking up car parts or trips to the dump :D.

So I now have the work truck, the fast car (vr4) and the fun car (rally car). Oh, and the tow car.

Ours cars aint no Porsche's of Ferrari's.
Unless its a dedicated drag/track/rally weapon i think they should be daily's.

if i drove G5R5OL everyday, I think id get a canary every day too

it just isnt worth it. Daylight driving and mostly on the weekend only. I never take it out at night.
