U play around with standard rods and blah blah blah....Ill wait and get forgies and rods

Rush........your car will be a headache and you will always say "i wish i could have done this that way.
B e a tightass, you will be rebuilding our engine more than once and posting it on here telling us ur heart ache.

Do things once and do it proper! Or just have a standard car and enjoy it

But then again different strokes for different folkes

I agree with this wholeheartedly, but I must admit not having your car on the road does suck, mine was off the road for three or four months coz of my own stupid lack of concentration and had to wait this long to save up enough cash to get it fixed, now all I gotta worry about is saving money for the rent! I'm having a ball with the car and am looking forward to modding it a bit this year

this is why i have 2 cars..

the daily lancer and the weekend lancer.. mind you the weekend one has been in the garage for about 2 months now.. getting mods done.

this car is such a *the 'C' word* at the best of times

clutch master cylinder went today

fun...

lol.. my clutch line has a pin hole in it and it lost all its fluid when i was in doncaster so i had to rev match and stall the car to put it into gear etc.. fun fun... have to wait til monday to get a new braided line.

it could of been the fact that i had 11 runs at calder on friday..

how'd you go at calder?

can't you just call up Pirtek and get them to come out and make you some braided line?

the most annoying thing was, we had JUST finished making the exhaust, when i tried to drive the car off the ramps, but it wouldn't go into gear

now the exhaust doesn't hang 1cm off the ground anymore :p
and i got some proper tips

that exhaust tip setup looks hot!! i like it.. its like euro style.

i had 11 runs from 6 til 7pm... i was car 101.. it was like a ghost town.. no one was there... when i left i saw car 118.. so there were 18 cars when i left...

best run i went was: 13.93 @ 96mph
best 60': 1.785
best mph: 96.5mph

not bad for the lack of mods... thinking of upgrading to an evo fuel pump and also give it 15psi of boost to see if i can run a low/mid 13.. maybe an eeprom flash.. but considering its my daily driver im not sure yet.

ah nice
was this the yellow or black car?

i just don't like huge ricer canons, or being able to see a muffler
and the gap is too small for one tip... so it just made sense

it sounds very different now

i kinda wish the one on the right was maybe 10mm longer, but i didnt realise what it would look like till after it was made

but oh well, for $0 i cant really complain

i need a new clutch hose
the braided ones seems to have a leak, theres some hydraulic fluid around the base of the connection that i think has leaked out

does pirtek do braided lines?

$133 for a new slave cylinder from mitsubishi (MD718638)

and about $150 labour to fit

fun and games...
