Knocking sound

I think I've got a busted inner RHS C.V. joint.

Everytime I turn left, I get a terrible noise from the front right corner of the car. Thing is, my last Evo made the same noise when cornering hard left, but the C.V.'s were fine.

Checked the inner boot, and it's shagged.

Could the noise be the C.V. or should I check something else.

I'd replace it if the boots split, thats just me though

You have any gearbox problems, could be the Diff?...Just an opinion.

Even if the C.V. isnt making the noise it will in the future if u dont replace it because u will lose the grease lubricating it.

I gotta split drive shaft boot, I will be replacing it before the drive shaft fuckes up, I guess it depends how long you have been driving it like that and if water/dirt has got in and buggered it.
I havent looked around for boots much so I cant help you with part numbers or prices just yet...
